Church News:

Condolences: The Church and congregation offer condolences to H.G. Bishop Youssef for the departure of his father the late Archdeacon Fayez Shaker.
Anniversary Celebrations: The Silver Anniversary (25 years) celebrations of the enthronement of H.H. Pope Shenouda-III will be held in St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Atlanta, Georgia on December 14-15 1996 (Sat-Sun). There will be no Liturgy on Sunday December 15 at New Orleans.
New Year celebration: The Church will hold the New Year celebration on Tuesday December 31, starting at 8:00 PM with dinner. Followed by several activities and vespers for the New Year Liturgy Wednesday morning.
Congratulations: To Dr. Bassem and Eman Georgy for the baptism of their son Mark Mina.
Kiah Praises: The month of Kiahk will start on December 13. Kiahk praises will be held every Saturday 8:00 - 10:00 PM. . The Liturgy of the first Sunday of each month, will be celebrated in English.
