The Doxology for Christmas

Then our mouths are filled with joy and our tongues with rejoicing, for Our Lord Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem.

Hail to the city of our Lord, the City of the Living, the dwelling of the righteous, which is Jerusalem.

Hail to you O Bethlehem, the city of the prophets, who has foretold of the birth of Emmanuel.

Today the True Light has shone upon us from Virgin Mary, the pure Bride.

Mary gave birth to our Savior, the Good Lover of man, in Bethlehem of Judea, according to the sayings of the prophets.

Isaiah the Prophet proclaimed with a voice of joy saying, "She will give birth to Emmanuel, our Good Savior."

Now the heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, for she has born Emmanuel for us, we the Christian people.

Therefore we are wealthy with perfect gifts, and we sing with faith, saying Allelulia.

Allelulia, Allelulia, Allelulia, Allelulia, Jesus Christ the Son of God, was born in Bethlehem.

This is He who is worthy of glory, with His Good Father, and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever.

Announcements :

On New Years Eve, a New Years celebration will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight.
On New Years Day, a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated from 9 a.m. to noon followed by a Spiritual Day from 12 to 5 p. m.
On Sunday, January 18, there will be three liturgies celebrated; one in the morning and two at night (Water and Epiphany Liturgies).
The church will sponsor a trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL, from Friday, February 20, until Wednesday, February 25. The cost for each youth is $175.
Happy Birthday to Nagwa El Zind (Jan. 17th) and Marian Albert Minias (Jan 29th).
Congratulations to Christine Soliman for her baptism in Cairo, Egypt.

Condolences :

The church expresses its condolences to Ms. Ikhlass Ibrahim for the departure of her sister-in-law Nargis.
The church also expresses its condolences to Phoebe Hanna for the departure of her brother-in-law Naguib B. Hanna
